Fiske and Herrera receive award from Songwriter Universe
The prominent songwriter website songwriteruniverse.com awarded Fiske and Herrera Top 5 standing for the month of May, 2010 for their song “Colorado Rain” from their CD Just Breathe.
In recognition of this achievment, Jared and Amy will be awarded:

Fiske and Herrera continue recording for their next CD.

After completing many of the basic tracks at Camp Street Studios in Cambridge, Amy and I are continuing work on our 3rd release at Lorne’s home studio. Things are starting to take shape and we’re having way too much fun deciding just what sounds are going to appear on this album.
We were very excited to record with such phenomenal musicians in Kimon and Lorne while we were at Camp Street. They helped us create the foundation that we’re now continuing to build upon. We have more great musicians lined up, and we’ll keep you posted as we bring them in to record their invaluable contributions!

Lorne Entress to produce the next “Fiske and Herrera” record!
A Note From Jared:
After sharing phone calls, e-mails, mp3s and a long visit, Lorne Entress has enthusiastically signed on as the producer for the next “Fiske and Herrera” CD!
Lorne has produced CDs for Lori Mckenna, Ronnie Earl, Catie Curtis and Mark Erelli, and Amy and I couldn’t be more excited. Looks like the recording process will begin in April. Right now we’re sifting through songs and also writing a lot of new material in preparation for this next project!

F & H WIN BIG!

Jared and Amy won first place in the folk channel at ourstage.com for the month of Dec. 2009. They went on to take the grand prize for the month in a competition with all 35 genres on the site! The prize was $5,000 and a healthy swelling of pride and joy for the new year!
